A Big Ben Parliament Around Busch Gardens Williamsburg

Hey All!
Today, we're visiting Busch Gardens Williamsburg on a bustling Saturday during Labor Day Weekend! Since our last trip, several new roller coasters have been added. We scanned our tickets and headed to the updated Loch Ness Monster. This ride now boasts a new track, enhanced theming, and a fresh coat of paint. The experience has significantly improved, with the interlocking loops and theming adding to the excitement. However, it's still a bit rough on the head, so we decided to ride it just once. Next, we explored the new indoor straddle roller coaster, DarKastle. The ride features an intriguing theme of being in a castle during a snow and lightning storm. I wish there was a preshow to fully immerse us in the theme. The ride includes some powerful launches and pleasant surprises. For some reason, the work lights were on during the ride, slightly reducing the effects. Overall, it's a decent family coaster, but the ride is quite short, even though it goes around the layout twice.
We then had lunch and proceeded to Alpengiest, the towering inverted roller coaster near the Germany section of the park. The ride has an impressive and intense layout, but the last time we rode it, there was noticeable head banging against the restraints. Unfortunately, this hasn't changed, and my ears were bright red when I got off. This was another ride that was a one-time experience. We then headed over to the Wolfs Revenge for my cousin to ride (my thighs did not fit the "Try me for size" seat). His overall impression was that the ride is a great family inverted roller coaster, but it wasn't intense or a must-do by any means. I then stopped in the new Canada Area to try a whisky tasting. This prepared me for the next challenging ride, InvadR. This ride has a nice and short layout for a family wooden coaster; however, it was quite rough and not a comfortable experience. We then did a couple of laps on Griffin, their 200ft Dive coaster, before heading to the Italy area of the park to get on Pantheon, Apollo's Chariot, and Tempesto.
The first ride we experienced in the Italy section was Apollo's Chariot, a 200-foot hyper rollercoaster that offered several great moments of airtime and provided a refreshing journey through the woods. The next roller coaster was Pantheon, which is arguably the most thrilling ride in the park with its forward and backward launch as well as its switch track. The last ride was Tempesto, which had some very uncomfortable trains to get into. The ride had an intense layout with its 154ft inversion, but it was one of the least favorite rides of the day.
We concluded the day with multiple walk-on rides on Verbolten, their family indoor and outdoor rollercoaster that has a drop track in the dark. Overall, we had a pretty good day with the high crowds at the beginning of the day, though I will mention we did buy Quick Que, which enhanced our experience in the park. As for that, onto the photo report!

As Always.....Keep on Coast 'N'
