Charlie Puth: Whatever's Clever Tour At The Fox Theater Detroit!
Hey all!
Tonight, we were at the magnificent Fox Theatre in Detroit to see Charlie Puth! The Fox is easily one of Detroit’s premier venues—a stunning, historic landmark that hosts everything from major concerts and stage productions to top-tier entertainment in the heart of the city.
The night kicked off with opening sets from Ally Salort and Daniel Seavey. Both acts did a phenomenal job setting the mood and getting the crowd hyped before the main event.
When Charlie Puth took the stage, he brought incredible energy from the moment he stepped into the spotlight. What stands out most about seeing him live is his sheer vocal precision—he sounds virtually identical to his studio records, showcasing an impressive range and effortless pitch control. Even though his ballad-heavy catalog slows the tempo down at times, his charisma and musicianship kept the room completely engaged. The setlist covered everything from "Changes" to his iconic hit "See You Again" from the Fast & Furious franchise. Plus, considering the spatial limits of a historic theater stage, the production team did a fantastic job utilizing lighting and stage effects to elevate the visuals.
It was an awesome night of live music at one of Detroit's true treasures. If Charlie Puth brings another tour through town in the future, we would definitely go see him again!
